UNZA lecturer ordained as pastor

UNIVERSITY of Zambia (UNZA) political science lecturer Alex Ngoma has been ordained as a Pastor of Rock of Hope Assemblies Pentecostal Church.

Dr Ngoma was ordained as a Pastor of Rock of Hope Assemblies Pentecostal Church yesterday at St Paul’s church in Lusaka’s Kabwata Township.

And the newly ordained pastor has called for the nation to love and have tolerance among one another.

Dr Ngoma said it was important for Zambians who were Christians to show love to one another.

The political Science lecturer told the Daily Nation yesterday that he was happy to be ordained and move forward to serve God.

“I have been an elder for many years in my church, having been to many bible colleges many years ago, and from today onwards, I have moved forward to serve the Lord as a pastor for Rock of Hope Assemblies Pentecostal Church.

“And let me take this opportunity to call upon the nation to love one another and to tolerate each other as people belonging to a Christian nation,” Dr Ngoma said.

He disclosed that he was not only a political analysist but also a dedicated Christian.

“This is the other party of me which people don’t know, I am not only a political analyst but also a dedicated Christion,” he said.
