PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has disclosed that Zambia’s first President Dr Kenneth Kaunda had predicted and foretold his presidency in 2005 despite not having had any desire to join politics at the time.
And President Hichilema has said he shall remain committed to the ideals of uniting the country and will ensure that economic development shall be taken to all parts of the country without any form of discrimination.
President Hichilema said he had on many occasions faltered in pursuing politics after losing elections on his bid to lead the country but he was encouraged by Dr Kaunda’s message in 2005 and indeed his wife, Mutinta Hichilema.
