FORMER President Edgar Lungu has refused to be compared to his successor, President Hakainde Hichilema in terms of leadership style and respect of the rule of law, stating he ran a government that was tolerable, diametrically different from the he termed the totalitarian and dictatorial UPND regime.
Former President Lungu has denied ever using lawfare to subvert democracy as had become the norm under the Hichilema administration and it is therefore for Dr Sishuwa to compare him to a dictator.
