West PF will never lead a winning campaign

Editor,

Members of PF in Western Province will never lead a campaign that will win our party votes in any election and allowing them to lead in the campaigns is a waste of time and resources. They are a bunch of tired and politically discredited manipulators pregnant with jealousies against those who can serve the people of this region better. Most of them are sitting on the fence with one leg and the other leg and heart in UPND.

Southerners will never support PF

Editor,

I wish to continue to remind our president and party secretary-general that the time to begin building and widening our political support in areas that potentially voted against us in protest such as North Western is now and don’t subscribe to the popularly held view by the opposition that the province is an opposition stronghold; to the contrary the region is a swing. It’s Southern Province which is conservatively UPND, and whatever development we take to that region will never make them support PF as long as their own is not in State House.

Bravo PF!

Editor,

I wish to congratulate the PF government for its inclusiveness in distributing development. I want to urge them on especially in Itezhi -Tezhi where tribal politics confirmed its existence during the last elections. Give them the D769, power station, airstrip, health posts etc and it will remain for the entire country to judge their ingratitude. I hope Itezhi- Tezhi will soon awaken from its mediocrity. God bless our country.

ZISC, please hear us!

Editor,

This is directed to the managing director of ZSIC to refund our security deposits. I would like to draw your attention to the above captioned subject. It’s almost nine months since the ZSIC building was sold, here in Mufulira. We haven’t heard anything concerning the above issue. Your quick and favourable response to the above issue, will be highly appreciated.

Welcome Topstar

Editor,

We all welcome the coming of Topstar and working with our national broadcaster ZNBC. Most of these people who could not afford expensive television services can now do so.

Those corruption allegations worrying

Editor,

The endless corruption allegation reports in government are very worrying especially that civil servants are on a wage freeze. Farmers are in a marketing crisis and poverty levels are still on the rise. Government should curb the vice to direct the funds being looted to those needy areas.

 Why now Kambwili?

Editor,

Why is it that when leaders are out of leadership, that’s when they see mistakes in the government? Like the story in the Mast newspaper where Kambwili is telling off Kampyongo over the vehicles he got from unknown sources, its baffling. It’s a sign that politicians are not honest.

Posterity will judge you harshly

Editor,

Indeed education is a passport to get a job. Even chiefs in the villages are much wiser than those who claim to be graduates. Look at how companies which pay foreigners huge sums of money make you bend. Shame, and posterity will judge you harshly.
