HIGH Court Judge Situmbeko Chocho on Tuesday stayed proceedings pending appeal in the matter in which PF Secretary General Raphael Nakacinda and three others are contesting the election of Miles Sampa as party president.
Justice Chocho granted Mr Sampa the application to stay proceedings to allow the Court of Appeal determine his appeal challenging the locus standi of Mr Nakacinda to commence an action on behalf of the party when he was illegally appointed as Secretary General by the acting president, Mr Given Lubinda.
