Under-20 in K10,000 phones galore

THE Football Association of Zambia says there is need for cooperating partners to support the Junior Chipolopolo as they shift their attention to preparing for the 2017 Under-20 South Korea junior World Cup after they where crowned Under-20 AfCON champions.

Speaking after Mobile City donated 132 accessories worth K10,000to Under-20 national team players and the technical bench led by coach Beston Chambeshi, FAZ communications manager Desmond Katongo said there was need for the boys to feel appreciated after their achievement.

Katongo noted that Zambia winning the Under-20 AfCON was a moment that should be cherished by every Zambian.

“We are grateful to Mobile City for their gesture. The door is open for corporate partners to come on board and support the boys for them to feel appreciated for what they have achieved for the nation,” Katongo said.

And Mobile City phones paradise manager Adam Hussein commended the junior Chipolopolo for winning the Under-20 AfCON.

Hussein said there was need for the Under-20 boys to remain disciplined for them to triumph at the World Cup in Seoul.

“We are happy as Mobile City to partner with the junior Chipolopolo after their success at the AfCON and we will continue supporting them even as they prepare for the World Cup,” Hussein said.

There is need for the boys to remain disciplined as national team players, he added.

And Mobile city marketing manager Masambu Minanu commended the boys for scooping the Under-20 AfCON.

Minannu noted that the Junior Chipolopolo’s achievement was something that had brought joy to many Zambians.

Meanwhile, Lusaka-based soccer analyst George Phiri commended Mobile City for their gesture in supporting the Junior Chipolopolo.

Phiri said the donation of phones to national team players was encouraging and motivating to the boys ahead of the 2017 South Korea World Cup.
