PRESIDENT Edgar Lungu is performing well and is fulfilling the vision and will of late President Michael Sata, former Presidential special assistant for political affairs Kaizer Zulu has said.
Mr Zulu has also pledged loyalty to the ruling Patriotic Front (PF) and that he could not betray the vision of founders of PF had when forming the party.
Mr Zulu who was fired by President Lungu in 2019 said he shall continue to work with the ruling party to ensure the much needed development was realised.
In his Facebook posting, Mr Zulu pledged to uphold late President Sata’s desire to develop Zambia by working with his predecessor, Mr Lungu.
He stated that President Lungu had scored in terms of development and continued to build on the positive strides that late Mr Sata pursued.
“My father and political guru, I pledge to uphold your desire to govern and develop Zambia.
“Malhemu, I shall soldier on with the party you left behind. Your successor is doing well,” Mr Zulu said.
He added, “ According to your will for ECL, I am smiling ahead of time.”
President Lungu fired Zulu last December and replaced him with political scientist Chris Zimba.
