THE dwindling economy will revive due to measures which are being put in place, former Vice President Enock Kavindele has said.

And Mr Kavindele has appealed to the government to address the unemployment level among youths.
Mr Kavindele assured the nation that with the efforts by the government the economic wheels of the country would improve.
He said Zambians must be patient because everything was being done to revive the economy.
Mr Kavindele said in an interview yesterday that “sooner rather than later the economy will improve. My call to Zambians is to be patient because things are being done to improve the economy.
Mr Kavindele said he was very confident that the dwindling economy would come back to its feet. “I think the people of Zambia should not panic with what is happening with the economy, the economy will soon improve.”
Meanwhile the former vice president appealed to the government to address the unemployment level in the country.
Mr Kavindele said that the only challenge youths were facing was the unemployment level, therefore, it was important that their plight was looked into.
He said if Government addressed the matter at hand the lives of young people who were languishing on the streets would be improved.
“My call to the government is about addressing the unemployment level among youths. Very few young people are employed, therefore it is an issue which needed to be looked into,” Mr Kavindele said.
