PATRIOTIC Front (PF) secretary general Davis Mwila has called on all party members to explain to the people all the projects and programmes that Government is implementing in all the areas.

Mr. Mwila said party members needed to change the work habits and ensure they sold the party well by explaining to the masses the massive development Government was implementing in line with the PF manifesto.

He said members needed to prove to the general public that the ruling party was fulfilling its campaign promises aimed at alleviating sufferings among Zambians.

Mr Mwila said this yesterday in Chavuma when he addressed PF executive committees.

The secretary general said that the party would not tolerate leaders who were not performing their duties as expected and that they would not be allowed to contest any position in the elections next year if they failed to meet their obligations.

And Mr. Mwila has advised people who have failed to accept President Edgar Lungu as the Head of State to swallow their pride and come to terms with reality.

Mr. Mwila explained that President Lungu was a duly elected candidate and wondered why a named opposition leader who only recorded victory in three provinces was failing to accept that he lost.

Meanwhile, Chavuma district PF chairperson Lawrence Kamalata told the secretary general that there was need for the party to lobby Government to ensure projects such as the Nyakasumbi-Nguvu road, 9.5 km township roads, installation of mobile communication towers

and the construction of the modern police station were completed soon.
