Let HH rest his mouth

Dear Editor,

Being talkative is not synonymous with astuteness.

Often times individuals who like talking tough to please or to scare their perceived enemies are actually themselves frightened rabbits.

And there is that English idiom which talks about barking dogs rarely bite and this is true.

I wish now to run to my brother Hakainde Hichilema that he should lessen talking and be seen to be a man of action.

But if continue to address the world, in my opinion he will reap wind. Don’t they say that one word is enough to wise person?

If he continues with ranting, very soon he will bore everyone. If he has intentions of standing in 2021, then time to star work is now. This propensity to be talking all the time is a sure way of wasting time.

He should not be talking to Zambians instead of engaging in frivolous political tantrums which will not take him anywhere.

I know that has what happened in Kenya has really excited him but this is Zambia and situation is totally different.

Real men indeed talk less because they are full of action.

And while I am at it, let HH learn to employ civic language which is synonymous with good leadership qualities.

But of course if he wants to reduce himself to a level of chatter boss, he is perfectly free to do so, it’s part of democracy I presume.

There is also a danger that when you talk too much, you tend to attract a lot of criticism which may knock off or dent your standing in society.
