FUEL SHORTAGE: IT’S SABOTAGE

DESPITE fuel depots and tankers being full to the brim, filling stations in Lusaka do not have fuel because tanker drivers unions believed to be working under political influence have parked their trucks.

Petroleum transporters have confirmed that trucks filled with fuel have been parked.

The Oil Marketing Companies Association of Zambia (OMCAZ) has also confirmed that the depots were full, saying that the fuel shortage was political and aimed at sabotaging the economy.
