CHISHIMBA Kambwili should not pre-empt the duty of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) in a bid to elude arrest for corruption by accusing State House of issuing directives to have him nabbed, PF media director Sunday Chanda has charged.

Mr. Chanda warned Mr. Kambwili to stop playing “Mickey-Mouse” over the corruption charges he was facing by dragging State House into his predicament because it had nothing to do with it.

“Mr. Kambwili should not pre-empt the duty of the ACC by claiming that he will be arrested under instructions from State House. If he is guilty of corruption, he should face the consequences of his action rather than hallucinating about State House issuing instructions to have him nabbed,” Mr. Chanda said.

Mr. Chanda said Mr. Kambwili should stop maligning the law enforcement agency and the President in his predicament which he created for himself.

He challenged Mr. Kambwili to come out clean on the Luanshya Golf course saga where he built his villas if he was not corrupt.

“ACC carried out its independent investigations and if at all an arrest will be effected on him, it will be because the ACC believed that Mr. Kambwili had committed crimes,

“It will have nothing to do with President Lungu because for example, President Lungu was not there when Kambwili was building his villas on a golf course in Luanshya,” he said.

He said it was in public domain that Mr. Kambwili had been under investigation since he was fired, adding that the ACC recently informed the nation that it had concluded its investigation and Zambians were eagerly waiting for the outcome.

“He knows that what he is doing is cheaper political blackmail to gain sympathy. He is maliciously raising allegations which he can hardly substantiate. Like we have always said and I want to repeat, Mr Kambwili’s greatest enemy is his loud mouth, he opens it and puts his foot into it,

“Typically, he behaves like a peacock which after displaying its beauty and splendour, turns around and shows its ugliest side,” Mr. Chanda said.

Mr. Kambwili told a local tabloid that he had received information from State House that the ACC was going to arrest him for corruption under the orders of President Lungu.
