President Edgar Lungu says there are certain individuals bent on demonising those working hard to improve the lives of the people of Zambia and warned Patriotic Front (PF) central committee members against thinking they were indispensable.

Speaking on arrival at Kasama Airport yetserday, President Lungu said all those following his leadership must emulate him in his works as a selfless leader.

He said leaders must always work with the support of the people that follow them.

“As the PF we believe in the power of the people who follow us. As a leader you must have support of people who follow you.

“”You must be with the people in order to understand the sufferings of the people you lead,” he said.

President Lungu said there were people demonising others who are working hard to demoralise them, and reminded them to emulate his work culture of service delivery.

He explained that no one is special in any area of service and that all are equal and must work selflessly for the benefit of the people they serve.

“None of us is special, we are just privileged to be where we are but all are here to serve,” the President said.

Mr Lungu warned all PF Central Committee members not to think they are indispensable and take heed of his words at Kasama.
