AFTER two months of what many warned was an artificial reduction of fuel pump prices and breather, the Energy Regulation Board (ERB) has increased the pump price of gasoline to about K36 effective midnight last night and motorists are expected to buy petrol at K35.56 from the current K31.12 as the new month begins.
Diesel will cost K29.60 from K28.78.
ERB chairperson Reynolds Bowa said in a statement that the increment had been prompted by the prevailing high prices on the international market.
