Kambwili lacks maturity-Musoma

CHISHIMBA Kambwili lacks maturity and his continued attacks on Copperbelt minister Bowman Lusambo will make him lose even the little respect left of him, says Zambia Republican Party (ZRP) president Wright Musoma.

Mr Musoma said that it was immature for Mr Kambwili who is a member of the Patriotic Front (PF) Central Committee to continue attacking Mr Lusambo who was junior to him through the media.

He said in an interview with the Daily Nation that Mr Kambwili was aware of the right procedures of ironing out differences in the PF having served in the party since its inception.

Mr Musoma reiterated that the recent behaviour being exhibited by the Roan constituency law maker proved that he lacked maturity.

He explained that a man of high standing in society like Mr Kambwili was not expected to behave in that manner especially towards his subordinates.

Mr Musoma warned that Mr Kambwili risked losing the respect that members still had for him if he continued behaving immaturely.

“We are all very disappointed with Mr Kambwili, he is a senior member of the PF and he is expected to behave as such. He is busy fighting his young brother Lusambo through the media instead of guiding in a mature. He is not behaving maturely, he knows the right channels of ironing out differences in the PF” he said.

Mr Musoma charged that Mr Kambwili needed to realize that the Kabushi constituency Member of Parliament was in need of his political expertise and not his admonishment.

He said that PF members as well as the nation still needed Mr Kambwili’s service even if he was no longer a cabinet minister.

Mr Musoma pointed out that a member of the highest organ of the party was only supposed to advise subordinates, and not to attack them in the media.

Meanwhile, Mr Musoma also advised Mr Lusambo to tolerate Mr Kambwili’s sentiments so that he was not seen as being disrespectful.

He advised the two leaders to continue being respectful towards each other, as they were still family.
