ZAFFICO 2017 COPPERBELT INTER-COMPANY RELAY SPONSORS

ZAMBIA Forestry and Forest Industries Corporation (ZAFFICO) has been named headline sponsors of the 2017 inaugural Copperbelt InterCompany Relay (ICR) and pumped K120, 000 towards the staging of the event on October 7 in Ndola.

And Bata have also come in as partners with a K15, 000 package towards the ICR which will start from the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.

ICR organising committee chairman Elias Mpondela in an interview yesterday confirmed that ZAFFICO was the main sponsors of the event.

“I am excited to announce ZAFFICO as our headline sponsors of the event. It will now be referred to as the ZAFFICO inaugural Copperbelt InterCompany Relay (ICR). We commend ZAFFICO for partnering with us,” Mpondela said.

He thanked Bata for coming on board to promote the wellness among Zambians.

He urged other Copperbelt institutions to emulate ZAFFICO in ensuring the suc-cessful hosting of the event.

Mpondela said all health logistics for the event were in place.

He called on Copperbelt residents to turn up in numbers for the event and acquire free medical services.

“We are on the right track and set to host a memorable event. Our hope is to have many people from the Copperbelt compete in this event,” he said.
