POLICE CHARGE, ARREST CHINESE MAN FOR DEFILEMENT HAMOONGA

POLICE in Lusaka have charged and arrested a Chinese man identified as Mao Feng aged 35 of Makeni for defilement Contrary to Section 138 Penal Code of the Laws of Zambia.

And police has also arrested the auntie to the victim for conspiracy to defilement contrary to section 150 of the Penal Code of the Laws of Zambia.

This follows a video that was making rounds on social media showing the victim narrating how she was sexually abused by the Chinese national.
The mother to the victim, of Kabanana Compound reported the matter to the Police that her daughter was defiled by a Chinese national.

Police spokesperson Rae Hamoonga said brief facts are that her aunt took the girl to Chikwa lodge in Chawama compound where she met Mr Mao who had carnal knowledge of her at the named lodge.

Mr Hamoonga said the incident is alleged to have occurred between August and November 2020 last year at Chikwa Lodge in Chawama compound, Lusaka.

He said A medical report form has since been issued to the victim and a request for a bone scan to determine the age of the child has been sent to the University Teaching Hospital as the mother has no under five card or birth record to show.
