The uninformed citizens

Editor,

I am shocked over the amount of ignorance on the part of those who think there is dictatorship in Zambia. Obviously they have not been to Uganda, Zimbabwe or our neighbouring DR Congo to fully appreciate the meaning of ‘dictatorship’. I am more than sure that you would not be saying the rubbish if Zambia was a dictatorship. Count your blessings because Gods is watching over you.

Bishop Telesphore Mpundu and his demand on the release of HH

Editor,

How does the clergy man expect the President to release his friend? Is it by ordering the prison authority or telling the court to free him? Does he realize this is interference? Some genuineness is required here ba Bishop.

Matero MP should come
to our aid

Editor,

I write with dismay over our MP’s absence in the constituency. I have observed he is very active on TV when dealing with a lot of water and sanitation issues but we need him to address the water blues in Chunga’s junction area. We need a Bombay Millennium drainage to alleviate our suffering. Please, we need your presence.

Has the law changed
overnight?

Editor,

I have been forced to ask this because I have seen the incarcerated Hakainde Hichilema with the phone in his hands when he first appeared in court. He is ever on the news complaining to the outside world about being ill-treated, even falsifying in the Mast Newspaper. I am not surprised to hear the fake Bishops, the Bushiri’s and the DA president of South Africa came mumbling all that nonsense. This is because of being selective with our rules or taking to say that not all animals are equal syndrome.

Job creation in Kabwe

Editor,

First, I would like to salute you for your coverage in your lovely paper, the Daily Nation. I thank you for the job you are doing. To the PF in Kabwe, you assured us of job creation and I can see you have brought us shopping malls which is very good for the district. With this so called job creation, I hope our youths will benefit. We don’t want a situation where our youths are left out and you start employing people from other towns, already people are saying they are not going to employ anyone from within. Please, can you order them not to do this?

Church mother bodies tearing each other apart

Editor,

I think it is very disappointing to hear that the church mother bodies are tearing each other apart and the worst part of it is where we hear of the two Roman Catholic Bishops namely T. Mpundu for the Lusaka Diocese and A. Banda for Ndola Diocese are contradicting each other publicly. It is really sad. Should this be the case? Where do we find our refuge in times of need? If not mistaken, this is happening for the first time.
