CIVIL Rights activist Brebner Changala says the 1956 police training syllabus must be reformed or expunged in totality because it is a colonial oppressive instrument meant to victimise citizens with dissenting opinions from those of the government.
And Mr Changala has proposed that the Inspector General of Police should have security of tenure of office guaranteed by Parliament if the office has to be transformed into a professional and non-partisan security wing of government. CLICK HERE TO READ MORE
