CHISHIMBA Kambwili is proving to be an enemy of development by instigating the removal of Copperbelt province minister Bowman Lusambo who is hard working and working well with the party structures, patriotic front (PF) Coppebelt province chairman Stephen Kainga has charged.

And Mr Kainga warned that PF members on the Copperbelt involved in land irregularities would be chucked out of the party.

He said in an interview with the Daily Nation that it was unreasonable for Dr Kambwili, a member of the PF Central Committee to be bad mouthing subordinates who are supposed to emulate him.

Mr Kainga charged that contrary to sentiments by the Roan Constituency law maker, Mr Lusambo was hard working, respectful and working well with the party structures in the province.

He reiterated that reconciliation would be top notch for the party in the province as they were sure that President Edgar Lungu had forgiven them.

Mr Kainga said that the provincial leadership had resolved to forgive all the party members who were on suspension to facilitate for a proper reconciliation in the province.

“The President said that he is keeping an eye on us, so I’m confident for now that he has forgiven us. We will now focus on reconciliation that’s why we have called back all those who were on suspension” “We don’t why Dr Kambwili wants Mr Lusambo to be removed, we are working well with the minister without any problems. Why should a senior member of the party be tempting subordinate through the media talk back, what does he want him to say?” he questioned.

Mr Kainga said that the provincial leadership would get on a vigorous campaign around the districts to preach peace and reconciliation.

Meanwhile, Mr Kainga warned that party members who would not heed to President Lungu’s warning against involvement in land irregularities would be axed out of the party.

He charged that it was better to have a small membership of law abiding people than a large membership of indisciplined  individuals.

Mr Kainga assured that the provincial leadership was committed to bringing sanity in the party and ensure that development was spread across the province.
