A KITWE-based clergyman has wondered why government has delayed to conclude the full takeover of Konkola Copper Mines (KCM) by Vendanta Resources.
Pastor Charles Chileshya says, despite the Minister of Mines and Minerals Development indicating that Vendata would have taken over the full operations of KCM by December last year, the people have not heard anything concerning this matter.
Pastor Chileshya has also called on the full operation of the mine so that it helps in stabilizing the Kwacha.
