Bishop Mpundu angers UPND

By NATION REPORTER

THE United Party for National Development (UPND) has appealed to Archbishop Telesphore Mpundu to act as a father and engage President Hakainde Hichilema if there is any wrong doing.

The ruling party said Archbishop Mpundu and other clergymen must join forces with the government so that the country can be governed in the right direction.

UPND Lusaka Province youth chairperson Anderson Banda said the people had respect for the Archbishop and they expected a lot from him that can contribute to build the nation.

“We expect Archbishop Mpundu to act as a father where when you see that a child has not done things to your expectation you bring down that child and say that I expect you do things in such a manner. Taking advantage of the open-door policy the UPND government has in place will be better, no one can solve any issue in public forums such as the televisions, newspapers. You cannot find the solution,” Mr Banda said. CLICK HERE TO READ MORE
