ZAMBIAN music artiste Mwenya Mwimba Chiko, popularly known to the entertenment world as Chikowise, has worked on a brand new single titled ‘Nshakashimye Umulilo.’
The new project which is soon to drop features another well-known artiste Dalisoul Mwana Wamukomboni and was produced by Trixta at Bravo Records.
The artiste who is popularly known for his hit songs ‘Kumanda’ featuring B1 Perfecto,’Shintwala’ featuring Afunika and ‘Mukansende’ said the single is a love song that talks of a man assuring his woman that come rain, come sunshine, his love will never die.
Chikowise has observed that the demand by Zambians for mature music has helped push artistes to write and do songs that can stand the taste of time.
“The demand for good mature music keeps rising and this has been a positive challenge to us musicians so as to improve our music that can stand a taste of time,” Chikowise said.
The artiste commended the government for the untiring effort and commitment put in the fight against COVID-19.
“The goverment is realy doing its part on the fight against COVID-19 pandemic.
My big concern is on how causually we are taking this deadly pandemic.
We are really not being responsible on this.
It’s annoying to know that people are dying in numbers from this COVID-19 virus while others chose to play causally with it” he lamented.
He advised people to adhere to the health guidelines that have been put in place by the government as it is for the nation’s good.
