SENSATIONAL gospel music act who is still enjoying the success of her recently released album “Confidence” has turned to the vulnerable in the street as she continues to cement her soul winning mission for God. In an interview with the Daily Nation Lifestyle, Nikoleta said the interactive sessions of sharing the Word through scriptures has opened her eyes to see that a small act of love can open opportunities to be a blessing to the world.
She said most of the children on the streets are not there by choice but because of circumstances including the death of parents, violence at home, poverty, or even HIV/AIDS. The gospel singer added that the environment is even more challenging for young girls and women on the streets as they are exposed to a myriad of issues including early pregnancy, rape, drugs, and lack of necessities like sanitary towels.
“For me and my colleagues, it’s always an enthralling fulfilling service to venture into the lives of the vulnerable in the streets and give them hope. Apart from ministering the word of God so that they know that true love and hope comes from Christ, we also assist them by sharing some food and clothing which we organize out of our pockets. And in a bid to enhance the ‘soul winning outreach programme campaign’ tagged “Street Ministry” which began some two (2) years ago out of a desire to support the vulnerable people on the streets, the gospel singer has partnered with renowned gifted music artist in, Bolokiyo and gifted entrepreneur & proprietor of “Roll With the Winner” tshirt branding business in Kassy Mukondolo.
